Selecting Correct Graphics Card

Hi, I have ASUSB85-Plus, LGA 1150,Intel i5-4670K, 3.4GHz, 32GB Ram memory, 750W power, PCI Nvida 8400GS. What is mid-range graphics card I can use with this rig?

If you consider a 1050 entry level, and a 1060 mainstream, then I guess that'd leave the 1050 Ti as the mid-range. Your CPU is powerful enough to get good use out of a 1060 if you decide to spend a bit more.

Q. Would ROG STRIX-GTX1070-O8G-GAMING since it does support PCIE 3.0 slots and it has video memory of GDDR5 8GB be a high end? Would it fit in my rig? AsusB-85Plus/LGA1150 ATX using DDR3 - 32GB ram. Thanks just looking to play Steam games - Total War: Medieval II, Shogun, Rome II, Napoleon. It has error messages: Not enough Video Ram.
