Selecting KneeBoard

Has any one ever had this happen?

For no reason, I decided to uninstall and reinstall FS9 + Upgrade.

The problem: When I click on Kneeboard, the program crashes. Everything
else seems to work well.
The program was working perfectly fine until I reinstalled it. I have no add
on's or additional aircraft installed.

NOTE: When I un-installed the program, I did a complete un-install and
selected to NOT save any settings. Also I have re-installed several times
with the same results. I even tried a registry clean program thinking that
would help.

If anyone has experienced this and knows a way around this, it would be
appreciated.

Thanks,

Very frustrated

I've had this problem for a while now, and I actually think it might be the
Flight Sim upgrade to 9.1.

When you did the re-install did you upgrade to 9.1 or just left it to 9.0???

I would actually like to see this taken care of. I was flying for a long
haul (offline) for the VA that I belong to and I missed what the ATC had
said. I hit F10 for the kneeboard and when I started to scroll down to see
what I had missed the FS9 had crashed. I was flying for more than two
hours. Very shaken I must say.

PS I did fly this again, and it was a total of a 3 hr and 20 minute flight
time.

Works great but don't forget to RESTART your computer.

It works. Thank you for passing this one on.

Now, instead of deleting it I renamed it. Would you believe after testing
out the kneeboard and logging back on the net the viewpoint manager exe was
trying to access the net. My firewall asked me for permission so I stopped
it.

Now, what is this viewpoint for??? I didn't download it or install it for
anything. To me this looks like some kind of media viewer for Internet
Explorer??

Thanks again for a great answer to a troubling and ongoing problem.
