Hello guys!
I'm thinking about building a computer of my own and pick each part individually.
Although I know a few things, I still have doubts, so here it goes:

- About the motherboard: Does it make a difference to pair a AMD FX-6300 with a ASRock 960GM-VGS3 ( http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/960GM-VGS3%20FX/ ) or a ASRock 970 Pro3 R2.0 ( http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/970%20Pro3%20R2.0/ ) when it comes down to performance?

- About the RAM: Does it make a difference to pair a AMD FX-6300 with DDR3 RAM of 1600 or 2133 for example? Will it impact my gaming performance? Also: The CL numbers, I know that it's about the time it takes for the information to be transfered if I'm not mistaken so less is better. Taking RAM of CL10 or CL9, does it make a lot of difference?

- About the PSU: this is quite complicate and I know it involves a lot of knowledge about voltage and also the certified PSUs (bronze, gold, etc). I'm really uncertain about this aspect of the build I'm putting together. I'm on a tight budget so I don't want to go over what I can afford but I also know that the PSU is one of, if not, the most important part of your computer. I thought about Corsair CX-430W 80+ Bronze ( http://www.corsair.com/en/cx430-80-plus-bronze-certified-power-supply ). I've heard it's not the best for overclocked parts but I'll not be overclocking my CPU.

Here's what I'm thinking about building:

CPU: AMD FX 6300 (6-core @ 3.5 GHz) 14MB cache (6 L2 + 8 L3)
CPU COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
MOBO: ASRock 970 Pro3 R2.0
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 2x4GB 1600MHz CAS9 1.5v
GPU: Asus Radeon R7 360 OC 2GB GDDR5
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 64MB SATAIII (6GB/s) - EZEX
PSU: Corsair CX-430W 80+ Bronze Certified
DRIVER: Samsung DVD±RW 24X Dual Layer Black Bulk Sata
CASE: Nox Vulkan Preta
CASE FANS: 2x Cooler Master SickleFlow 120MM Blue

Please give opinion about those things I pointed out and give advice about the build. Thanks in advance!

1. With that gpu you don't need an fx 6300, a 860K would suffice
2. That means you have to go with an FM2+ MB, wich by the way would be cheaper
3. With a cpu like that, and on a tight budget you could get rid (for starter, and get it later) the aftermarket cooler.
4. I'm seeing in a lot of new builds optical drives. Would you use it?
5. From the saved up money you could buy a better gpu (r9 370 or gtx 950 maybe? )
6. Just a personal prefference here> this is not the best time to buy a pc. Lots of interesting new stuf will be released in just a few month (and I mean a LOT)

Cheers!

Hey, thanks for your response. The games I'll be running don't rely a lot on the GPU, instead they need a good CPU and I think the FX 6300 is better than the Athlon X4 860K. I've considered it before, but I'd rather go with the AM3 socket.

And what about that new stuff coming out soon? I know about that but I won't be able to buy those new parts, they are very expensive and I don't think that their release will drop the price of older stuff to be honest

I'm also an fx 6300 owner, so from experience I can tell that it's an awesome bang for the buck cpu. About the price drops, yes that's a possibility that older parts won't be affected. Might I ask what kind of games are you playing ? CS go and such ?

Yeah. I don't like to play a lot of games so I'm going just for 3 of them: CS: GO, WoW: WotLK and this one might be unknown, I started to play it with my gf: PWI (Perfect World International) or something like that.

Than you might consider an AMD APU direction here: for reference read this thread. It's an older thread so you could aquire an even better APU http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2219396/run-comp-apu.html
