Selling gaming PC without Windows?

I recently upgraded from my old mid range gaming PC by building a new one, and I used the Windows 10 activation code from the old one to use for my new computer. I'm planning on selling my old PC, and I'm wondering, should I buy Windows for it or just sell it without an operating system?

throw linux on it.
I like mint linux with cinnamon. easy for windows users to navigate.

You could just put a unactivated version of Windows 10 on it, just note that in the sale.

Sell it without a license.
You can install Win 10, and skip entering the license. It will work just fine.

Fully inform the buyer of this, and let him figure out his own license key situation.
