There are 303 books total in the 6 auctions, which represents my
personal collection of white wolf books that I've built up over the
years. Each auction lists the ISBN# and original cover price of the
book as well as a picture of the stack of books.

Thanks for considering the auctions.

It's strange no one is bidding on them. Is the oWod so old that
there's noone interested in getting a (nearly) complete collection of
one game for a ridiculously low perbook price ?

As for myself, I'm at the point where my library of WW books that I want
is complete enough that buying doubles of almost every book in it to
fill in the gaps is ridiculous.

That's something of an exaggeration, surely? All WW "decreed" was they
were going to start publishing a new batch of games with tenuous links
to the last batch.

People are still buying and played oWoD. Hell, I'm still snarfing down
Mage books when I have the cash to spare.

I don't know. I think there's a lot of market share for nostalgia, in
ebay rpg buying
"look ! the game I played ten years ago with only the rulebook because
i was a poor student...".
Maybe it's not old enough ?

>Good luck selling them though.

One guy bought 4 of the six lots.

I think this is the real problem. How many people starting out in a
hobby want to spend a fortune on a whole collection? I would say some,
but very few (and this will be even less since many newcomers will start
on nWoD). Once you have a quarter-third of a collection already, you
start wondering the worth of duplication, and of course there may be any
number of books in the collection that you don't really want at all. I
speak as an Ebay buyer, but I have never bid for a collection (or maybe
once, a very low bid).
