Hello everyone.I own a G1 Gaming and I was wandering will it be worth to sell it and get a new 3xx series from AMD?(Propably 390 cause budget for 390x is too low).I have also 750cs corsair and i5 4670k.

Mostly for 1080p gaming.

290x vs 970 is really close, more based on if you want AMD\NVIDIA IMO. Since you already have the 970 I would just save yourself the hassle and stick with it. Especially @1080p

R9 390 is a very good card. But GTX 970 would be enough for you if you are playing in a regular single display monitor. But that PSU of yours seems a little bit unsuitable for a good gaming build. Corsair CS series PSUs are known to have low quality capacitors which tend to fail at heavy usage. I would say keep your GPU, change the PSU to a better quality one from Seasonic, XFX, EVGA or Antec.
