I recently upgraded to a better PC and I plan on selling my old one. I'm going to reset the PC with the "remove everything" option and then after that I will do a clean install of Windows. So my question is, is that enough? Is there any possible way for a computer savvy person to be able to get any of the old files if I did that? Or would that be completely safe? Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure exactly what the remove everything does but im assuming its not enough.
One thing ive seen (did it for my phone at least) was fully encrypt the drive, then copy and paste dummy files to fill the entire thing. then erase them. I believe that would fully wipe it?

i'm sure there are 3rd party programs too that would do the job for you
