I have a Windows 10 machine, that boots up ok, works ok and about 10-11 minutes in, pretty much no matter what's the activity on that machine has a "semi-freeze"... meaning, the screen stays on what was open, mouse is still active (moving) but anything else is unresponsive, keyboard too. Can't open any new, can't close, can't do anything from this point.

been trying tweaking bios settings for a few days and I'm at the point to give up.

Mobo is a Sabertooth X79 with a i7, cpu and memory is at specs, no OC. One boot ssd, Samsung 128 SSD.

Any way I could find out what is causing this lock-up and how to solve it?

Much appreciated in advance!

Solution
Try booting into SafeMode. Does the problem persist?
If so, it's likely a hardware concern - check temps etc.

If not, then you're likely dealing with a software/driver issue.
