I am sure it can be done. An ordinary digital flat screen TV has HDMI slots at the rear. These are to connect other device such as a Laptop, but these are great to connect other HDMI devices such as wireless boxes. They are now in the Internet, but I am not sure myself the name of these devices. The are attached to a computer via HDMI cable and a power point. They then pick up the computer wireless modem signals such as D-Link or NetGear to name a couple of them, and then send the signal to the HDMI input of the TV via the hdmi cable. And if you have a wireless mouse and keyboard you can sit in the comfort of your lounge sofa and use both to search the web, watch YouTube and play video games on your TV. You can also check the wireless range from the modem in your Study or room with a laptop and if the signal is strong you will not have any problems. If you have other TV's in the home, you can connect extra wireless boxes to them too. All with be the same connection once these boxes are paired with a password. Hope it helps. Let me know.
