Hello,

I have Verizon Fios or something like that and since about yesterday, maybe the day before, I noticed that whenever I launch games and TeamSpeak, and use them, my internet receives 0 Kbps of packages and it really pisses me off because I don't know what to do. I use windows 10. Yesterday night, I read on Verizon that I should try to reset my modem and router and everything is working fine (at least for now it is.) Any help? Will use in the future if it happens again.

Solution
Reset or Restart? Reset means you took the devices back to their factory settings and had to reenter all the configuration data. Restart means you powered off, waited, and powered on.

The first thing to try is another ethernet cable between your device and the router. Could be a failing/loose connection and the post-reset restoration was coincidental.

Or it could have been a Verizon side problem that corrupted things and the restart cleared thngs out.

The router logs (if you have access) may shed some light on what happened.

Sorry, I meant restart. It seems to be doing fine without TeamSpeak for now. I'll try what you suggested later on if the problem appears again.
