Hi, what kind of information could the other side find out from their invoice or setting when I send them money through Paypal?

Will they only find my email address? Could they also find out my real name or alias or what?

Please tell me anything you are sure about this.

They can't find out anything through paypal.
But, if you buy some physical merchandise, then the seller presumably needs a physical name and address to send it to.
If some digital good, then they'll need an email address.

Did you mean the physical name that I can assign every time with preferred shipping address but not the "legal name" or "real name" which is embedded with Paypal?

by they way, if a recipient cannot find out anything which could identify the sender, how can the recipient know where the money is from? Requiring a conversation or notification outside Paypal??

Another problem now. I just tried to send money to the seller but I am unable to assign the country of shipping address, only Address line 1, line 2, Region (of my own country) is seen.

The situation is I am in country A and my credit card / bank account is issued by country A but I want them to ship the item to country B (for my brother, he is out of the country)

Now I am unable to assign a standard shipping address on Paypal.....

How can I fix this?? Thansk a lot.

You'll have to ask paypal on this.
Being unable to select a whole different country for shipping is almost certainly a fraud prevention tool.

If your account were compromised, the hacker could buy something and have it shipped elsewhere.

Yes but the fact is I am buying something for my bro who is studying overseas
In this case if I still pay via Paypal and let them ship the items I will have no
buyer's protection right?? (Just in case they are shipping defected products or just.. don't ship)

Have them ship it to you, and you mail it to your brother.
