[SOLVED] Sennheiser Game One Headset Crackling Issue

Recently I got a new pair of Game ones which worked fine for about 30 days. Then one day in discord my friends said my mic was making crackling noises and sounded robotic. It would work fine sometimes then mess up and seemed to do it more often when I'd switch between mute and unmute. Ended up returning them and got a new replacement. Friends say it sounds better but still, anytime I mute the headset and then unmute they say it makes loud crackling noises and then eventually it clears up and is fine. What should I look be looking at to correct this?

Use latency monitor app in background while you use headphones and computer. Then after a while check its report for any latency/bad drivers it may find. https://www.resplendence.com/main
