I bouth a Sennheiser GAME ZERO. The sound quality is decent but the microphone quality is not as good as i expected and seen in reviews. I dont know much about headsets i bought this pair because it had good reviews. My motherboard is a ASUS H81M-PLUS im not sure if my motherboard is up to standard to support the headset or if i have to buy a sound card ?

The Sennheiser Game Zero is driven by analog connectors and as such, I'm assuming you're on the onboard audio ports off that motherboard, you're not getting the best out of the pair of headphones. You should look into a discrete sound card as the cheapest alternative to getting the best audio out of your platform.

Before you take my suggestion into account, take your headphones and try pair them with a good quality sound card, a board with better audio onboard or a good discrete sound card. That way you can see if the sound card improves your experience of audio input and output.
