Sent Graphics Card to asus for RMA and curious about fix time

I sent my defective graphics card back to asus and within a day after it arriving at asus the status is that the repairs are completed and that the card will be shipped soon. Does this mean I did something wrong and they’re shipping it back without doing anything or am I possibly getting a refurbished card. I’m just puzzled by how quick the repairs took I thought it would be 5-10 business days.

If the card is simply defective this usually happens.

I'd be surprised if they didn't send a refurbished card. It makes things a lot easier on them in terms of time to make the repair. They go from having 5 days as promised to having however much time they need. I'd bet that they verify the card is intact and maybe plug it in to verify there aren't any basic defects like "fan unplugged" before issuing a refurb.

Yeah I think it probably was ubrepairable I was having major issues

Usually if it's not repairable, they will send you a refurbished unit.
