Separate Partition for OS

Ok guys, first of all i will admit that my English isn't the best. So please bear with it!!

As of now i successfully created a new partition for my hdd, which has 340gb for data/programs/games, and a 125gb for OS.
And i am confuse if what files my OS partition needed, so i can copy the rest to my newly partitioned.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate.

Also, is it true that i can use my Windows 7 ultimate product key to activate windows 10??

What have you already installed?
The OS and any applications cannot simply be "moved" to a different partition.

And for upgrading your existing Win 7 Ultimate to Win 10...probably.

What have you already installed?
