Hi
Just bought new PSU with two 8 pin connectors, I want to replace my old video card with gtx 970 which requires 2 x 6 connectors. Is there any way to separate 8 pin connector without cutting or breaking it?
Many thansk

Solution
If that is your cable, pull outwards and not up. Theres a notch, only needs to be lifted that high in picture and should sideways out.
Most 8 pin cables are 8 pin in the power supply and 6+2 to the card. If your PSU didn't come with these and you actually need them, buy some.[/quotemsg]

Hmm, they are 6+2 but just don't know how to split them, it looks like you have to pull up 2 pin but cables are too short and I am afraid I will brake them while pulling up, maybe I am missing something..
