I am not sure the best place to put this so I decided here. I am going to try and make a cooling system for my tv cabinet and I was thinking of using multiple pc 120mm fans. I thought that I could use a fan controller and connect fans to it and control it with that. Do you know if there is anywhere that sells an adapter from 110v to the 4 pin for PC fans?

I found this one:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811995075&cm_re=fan_bay_controller-_-11-995-075-_-Product

here's a video of it

It's molex powered, and it's supposedly highly reliable and durable, since it has almost no electronics in it. It doesn't cost much, it looks good, and it's 0-12V molex powered.

For it, I'd take this one:

maybe two, just in case one set itself on fire [just kidding]. Guy sold them about 1600+, so they look good, since he has good feedback [99,8%].

I'd go this way, and since no one else is hooking up, there's probably not many people with such an experience.

Anyway, I'd wait a day or...
Eximo - what exactly doesn't make sense? He's not gonna run it from PC, there's no motherboard to switch on the PSU, unless he'd short circuited the right two rails. He's gonna need to power those fans, and as I suggested the rack, for fans, and the rack is powered directly by molex/sata ending by 12V/5V molex/sata connectors.

Yes precisely, but I'd still do a bit more research, because there are even 6 connector fan controllers with external power supply[source] out there, this was just my fast shoot out. I actually never powered fans before outside the case, without standart computer power supply, with custom made board to turn it on and off. I can search some for You if You want.

Let me know if you find a better set up but you don't have to go looking. I originally thought of buying a PSU and trying to connect the fans but after looking, that would cost more than getting an adapter.

Nice one Uplink, I was going to post similar items my own self but thats perfect for the job, I use a similar item to power up hard drives for data recovery
I'd be modding the hell out of the cabinet if Op was up for it, @Op go for larger fans if you can fit them on the cabinet, they'll be quieter :)
