Juve for the title now? they have been a bit off since the new year but
still manage to pick up the points in games despite not playing that well.
Milan are struggling a bit, seems like all the games could be catching up
with them, and it has seemed really apparent that often when Pirlo doesn't
perform Milan also don't. I question Ancelotti in playing Tommasson as
well, Inzaghi looked sharp coming on against juve why not give him a start
seeing as he is (at long last) fit?
Key game for Ancelotti in the next round and it doesn't even involve Milan,
and ironically sees two of his old clubs Juve and Parma in a game that is
vital for both ends of the table. I think Zlatan is back for this game
(Wierdo?) and Gilardino is banging them in still so it should be good
stuff.
The Relegation battle looks very interesting. Roma just 4 points from the
drop zone and the derby against much improved Lazio to come on Sunday,
should be very interesting. A look at games to come sees Roma playing
Chievo, Parma up against Siena, Siena hosting Chievo, Atalanta away to
Fiorentina and at home to Roma and Siena hosting Atalanta. Has there ever
been so many 6 pointers at this stage of the season, not only in Serie A,
but any league??
Last CL place showdown possible in the next round with Samp and Udinese.
Not sure how the draw would work out, but I wouldn't give Everton much
chance against either of them tbh.
Boring, boring Serie A! Two weeks in a row there has been a goalfest, both
involving Livorno conceding 6 and pushing Lucarelli into the top scorers
ahead of some of the heavyweights. Does anyone have any stats on how
leagues compare on goals scored?
Livorno play Inter at the weekend as well! Another goalfest?
