Serious question about am3+ 900 series motherboard display and video functionability ?

As far as I know AMD's 900 series motherboards do not have integrated graphics on them ..

so will I be able to play video files and low demanding games if I do not add a dedicated gpu ??

It's not the board, it is the CPU that comes with integrated graphics. Unless you get a CPU with integrated graphics, no you cant do anything without a dedicated GPU. Either go for intel (which is better in my eyes) or go for the APUs of AMD, if you already have the board.

I see..

To be honest I am saving up for Zen and I heard they will not be APUs which means they will likely not have integrated graphics on the chips ..

So will AMD include some onboard igp on the new AM4 motherboards or not ??!!!!

Because this can be potentially catastrophic and cost AMD a lot of sales even if Zen turns out to be pretty good ..

No one knows if they will have onboards yet. Also if you are waiting for the Zen, then you know zen will not use this socket so the motherboard you get now will be garbage for the Zen.
