Ok, so I have come across an issue where I have accidently purchased an INTEL SE7520BD2 motherboard. However when I look at the packaging it says it is a server board. My question is, can this still be used as a normal desktop computer. The compatibility says I can use a 64bit Xeon processor which I have purchased as well as DDR2 RAM. I want to just use this to build a standard computer for minor gaming and other things such as using the internet.
Will I be able to run windows 7 or windows XP is so should it be 64 or 32bit. Will I need to get extra cooling or a strong power supply.
Please reconsider that I only want to use this for mild gaming purposes, so I do not want to add extremely power consuming parts like a server would need. So far I have 4GB DDR2 RAM, Intel XEON single core 3.4ghz 64 bit processor and still searching for a graphics card which will be low profile.
Will this run fine with windows 7 or XP acting as a desktop mild gaming computer.
Thanks
