Does anyone know if my server with PC2-5300p is also compatible with PC2-5300f?

Not compatible. The RAM you are planning to buy is FB-DIMM (Fully Buffered DIMM). These modules are not compatible with your registered/buffered memory - usually, motherboards that require them will not accept any other kind of memory.

In case you were wondering, "f" stands for "Fully Buffered" and "p" stands for "parity" (i.e. ECC). You need to buy classic registered/buffered memory for your server.
