cpu 14% mem 1,118 mb
Is this normal, if not how do I fix it ?

Having same issue and short term I just turned the service off.
Of course it's on again when I restart - so turning it off seems to be the short term - wondering if I go into management and tell it not to start on boot up would that cause issues?

Uh, that working may be a sign of things failing in your PC.
Search "reliability history" on your PC and see what's on that report. Extra points if you can send a screenshot.
Read the reliability record and it is spattered with errors - software and hardware - but the hardware reports don't give identification of the component... for example:

Mhm, just as imagined. Whatever happens out there, Windows can't take the dump of it. (BAD_DUMP tag) We probably will have to walk by it a few times. Your computer specs? We may just be able to find what's wrong by it.
I have "speccy" on the PC that gives "everything" do you want it in that depth, or can I attach a text file readout?

No, that is pretty enough. Just that I can't see the make and the model of the power source (I assume that's a PC seeing the graphics card), can you tell me that, including the wattage? Maybe it's not enough for the whole rig.
Hi, apologies - the power supply is a Corsair RM750 - I put in new about 5 years ago. I've tried to attach a screenshot from today in the task manager.

Now - here's a possible positive light.
Today took me 2 hours to get a desktop screen, and then it froze. I re-booted and it came up with "scanning and repairing "F" drive, so I let it. It booted then froze.

I lifted the lids and took out the SCSI interface card that my RAID 0 used as a video editing drive.

Booted - it runs sweet, fast and stable.
So - is it the SCSI card, drivers or one of the four 500GB spinny drives attached to the SCSI card failing - (but that would have caused a drive drop out - not system crash - surely).
Checked today again and there are no windows updates available to me.

That's some great news out there, besides that we got some corruption repaired, you also probably managed to find the source of the problem. I don't know much about SCSI-RAID setups, so I can't be of much help there, but you should try basic troubleshooting (may not be possible depending on which RAID mode you have, but basically trying each component by itself to see if it's the problematic one. My money's in the card though. A single drive dropping out would have much less effect, even less if we're talking on a RAID 0.)
