SERVICE PACK 1 AND 2 ISSUE

I am reformatting my HD and need to now if I have to install Service Pack 1 and 2 consecutively or I can bypass SP1 and install SP 2 only, for my Windows XP upgrade Home Edition.

I believe that all you need is SP2. If you need to install SP1, Windows will make you aware.

sp2 includes all the fixes and updates from sp1. all you need is sp2 and any updates since then.
