I have bought a new PC which came with Windows Service Pack 2 pre-installed,
and now when I have installed CM01-02 It wont run, just keeps coming up with
an error all the time!

Has anyone else suffered this, and is there a patch of some sort to fix it?

Any help is much appreciated,

Thanks,

Geordie

Is it a memory error, CM01/02 doesn't like more than 1GB of total RAM (RAM +
Pagefile) there should be a patch somewhere for that, the other problem
CM01-02 has with XP is a compatibility problem try either running the GDI(?)
..exe located in the CM where you installed CM, if that doesn't work make it
run in WinMe mode - right click the .exe/shortcut go to the compatibility
tab and fiddle with the options, I think there was also a patch out to
improve compatibility. If neither of them work make sure your user account
is an admin one not limited and stop the windows firewall from blocking CM
(I've found the firewall likes to stop programs from working whether they
try to connect to the internet or not). If none of that solves the problem
do a google search for CM01/02 and XP SP2 (or buy FM2005 🙂 )
