Anyone here has installed it yet? Tell us about your experience. I don't remember having any problems with SP1 and SP2 but I was curious...

I noticed faster bootup, but one thing that I didn't like was before I selectively avoided some of the critical updates and bells and whistles that were out there before SP3. Guess what, I got the whole farm with SP3 whether I wanted them or not.

It no problem though, just added baggage, like the "Critical Update Notification". I never need a reminder to check the updates, but now I got it, and had to configure it to let me know first before updating my OS. Make sure you check the default preferences of this little jewel.

Also, a little nice addition was a shortcut to "Add/Remove Programs" on the Start Menu. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

I have the new service pack but am a little bit weary of applying it. Do you guys know if it installs the dreaded June '02 Windows Media Player patch with the crazy EULA that lets MS automatically feed you 'updates?'

If you are talking about the "Critical Update Notification" for automatic updates...the answer is YES!

I found it funny that my SP3 update was only 3 megs...I had downloaded the majority of the updates incorporated in SP3, so it's size was reduced vastly.

 Have you ever tried cooking an egg on your HSF? Tasty.

I installed the new service pack and now I cannot get the properties menu to come up when I right click on a Drive.
Wish I knew what the problem was . I am thinking about reinstalling the whole mess.
