Question Set BIOS password accidentally, can't remember it, CMOS reset not working.

I accidentally set a password to my BIOS a year ago and it seems I entered it incorrectly, thus I am locked outside of my BIOS. I tried shorting the CMOS jumpers, removing the battery, unlocking software and codes, countless tutorials and videos, I read forums and I even wrote on the Acer Forum only to be told they do not help with issues regarding BIOS password unlocks. I left the issue unresolved, because it was not interfering with my daily use of the device, until recently, when I got a brand new 1TB 860 EVO to replace my HDD with. Because of the password problem I am unable to enter my booting options (because they need to be enabled from the BIOS) and thus I am unable to install the SSD. I am on an Acer Aspire 7 A715-71G.
