Set up boot drive

Ok trying to set a ssd as a boot drive not to sure where to even start any advice would be great.

1) If the only drive is the SSD, just install the drive, set the boot device to CD, load the Windows CD, and install it. Once Windows is installed, set the boot device back to the SSD.
2) If you are going to have a hard drive and the SSD, do step 1 first then install the hard drive afterwards.
