[SOLVED] set up multiple monitors using gpu and motherboard?

Motherboard: ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus
CPU:AMD RYZEN 7 3700X
GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 2070
So my GPU only has one HDMI and a few DP connections. my monitors both use HDMI, so i connected one to the GPU and one to the motherboard. the motherboard screen is no detecting a signal.
I went into the BIOS to enable the "surround mode" or "multi display", or whatever, but it turns out that feature is not supported with Ryzen processors.
So i installed the Ryzen master app, but i have no idea what im doing and from what i've read, I still don't know how to enable this feature. Please help!

Your Ryzen 3700X doesn't have a iGPU (integrated graphics) so there won't be a display from the motherboard.

so it's just not possible? get adapters and use the GPU?

You'll need a DP to HDMI adapter for the 2nd monitor.
