Setting ActiveX kill bit with group policy

Hi guys,

Does Internet Explorer look in
HKLU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX
Compatibility\ for any settings?

I want to implement this [1] ActiveX disabling list as a formal group
policy rather than tattooing the registry!
