Question "setting default programs in windows 11

i tried doing a search in here. but didnt find what i wanted.. tried searching under topic setting default programs but only got results with default in it.. anyway.. is there an easier way of setting default programs like in windows 10.. where you get a screen where it says browser, photos, videos, etc.. and you choose the program.. right now. all i can find is by going to EVERY item. such as .jpg, .jpeg, .wma, .mp4... etc and selecting and its so annoying. why they took the other way out.. i dont get,.,. so is there a 3rd party app or program or way to do it like windows 10?? i have also tried searching online for programs to do it and no luck. certainly i am not the only one who is frustrated over this. thanks in advance.

Try "WIN" + "I" > Apps > Default Apps > Chose Default Apps.

Where "WIN" + "I" indicates that the WIN key and I key are pressed at the same time.

And the > indicates an available option/or choice to select.

So for "Photos" you make a selection by clicking Photos and choosing from the list.

Do scroll down down to the bottom of the page:

Below the Reset button there are additional options and choices.
