Having a hard time putting my issue into one sentence, so apologies for any misunderstandings in the title.

So we're all on the same page:
  • Monitor 1: Dell 2k via DP (previously via HDMI)
  • Monitor 2: Dell via HDMI
  • Monitor 3 (new): Asus via HDMI
I recently upgraded my system to support 3 monitors. Previously, I was sporting 2. In my previous configuration, I had both monitors plugged in via HDMI and it was set up the way I wanted. The login screen, things downloaded to the desktop, UAC popup, popups to install new programs, all this would appear on screen 1.

Now that I've got a 3rd monitor, everything is all screwy. I want all my desktop icons to be on Monitor 3 and everything else on Monitor 1, but somehow everything is defaulting to Monitor 2. Is there an easy way to set everything back to defaulting to Monitor 1?

Ah, my bad. I had to go into my system settings under display and scroll down to the Multiple Displays section. There's a box there that says "Make this my main display" that I had to check. Solved my problem. I just didn't scroll down far enough.
