Hey there, I am a bit new to early adopting, and have never had to do more than plug in my memory kit before, so I apologize for lack of knowledge. I am only getting in the low 1000's for memory speed according to the tests I run, and the BIOS was showing my memory showing up as only 2633. Before I go changing any bios settings, I wanted to get some information on how about I should go on changing the timings to the correct timings for my memory/cpu.

Motherboard: ASUS x470
CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x
Memory: 16GB(2x8GB) G.Skill DDR4 Trident Z Royal Silver 3600Mhz CL18 PC4-28800
GPU: EVGA 980 Ti Hybrid

Which exact Asus x470, there are several ?
Enable DOCP, it will read the XMP and set memory to it. It may show two XMP profiles so set memory frequency to same speed.
My RAM has 2 XMPs, one is 3000 and other is 3600, so I set DOCP 3000 and RAM at 3600 and now it works at 3600MHz but with lower Cas latency which make is somewhat faster. It was supposed to be CL 18 at 3600 but now it's Cl 16.
