I have windows 10 installed on my Samsung SSD (connected via SATA). Then I have most of my steam library installed on my WD Black SN 750 M.2 SSD. When I start the PC with all drives connected, the BIOS only recognizes the M.2 SSD (which does not have any O.S.). But when I unplug the M.2 SSD then restart, the BIOS recognized my SATA SSD which has my O.S. and then I can boot up into Windows 10 fine. How do I get the BIOS to recognize and boot the OS from my SATA SSD while the M.2 SSD is also installed?

Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 Aurous Elite
SATA SSD: Samsung 860 Evo
M.2 SSD: WD Black SN750

Solution
Only thing you have to do - set appropriate boot order in BIOS.

Can you show photos of boot priority settings in your BIOS?

Also - using M.2 drive can disable some sata ports. On your motherboard:
NVME M.2 drive in M2A socket disables ports ASATA3_0 and ASATA3_1
NVME M.2 drive in M2B socket disables sata ports SATA3_2 and SATA3_3

(User manual page 17)

Try connecting your sata drive to a different sata port.

Move your SSD from the ASATA slots that are near the memory to one of the lower SATA slots.
