Setting up 2 SSD's

In about a month I'll be building my second pc (the first was an experiment) and I was planning on having 2 850 evo Samsung 500gb ssd's. However, I have no idea if i can just plug them into the sata and both work properly or if I need to set up raid or a spanned/striped volume on them. Can someone walk me through it?

No need for RAID or anything else. Just plug in and go.

Connect one SSD, enter BIOS and make sure it's set to ACHI and not IDE, reboot and install OS, connect other drive and quick format, assign drive leter to that drive and thats it.
