setting up a 3.2 /bios

I just bought all the parts in my signature and i ran 3dmark 2001se and scored a little over 10k i scored between 8-9k with my old machine 1.6 gigahertz. i cant figure out why my score is so low i have all retail parts
top of the line pc componets i am wondering if its something in my settings any ideas would be appreciated.i see 3d mark scores of 16k and higher why am i so far away from that mark ?

western digital raptor 74 gig 10k rpm
8knxp gigabyte
geforce 4 titanium 4600(i know get a faster card)soon!

That is low.

Did you istall the motherboard chipset drivers from the CD? It might be called Intelinf.exe on the motherboard cd.
