Hey everyone,
So right now we have our wireless network running off of an Arris dual modem/router & it works fine.
We were recently given a Netgear Nighthawk X4 AC2350 Router. The person who gave it to us couldn't get it set up properly and thought it was possibly broken.
I'm trying to set up the Netgear as our 'primary' modem but am having trouble understanding if it really isn't working or if its just bootlegging and trying to amplify the connection we have established with the Arris.
The two are currently connected via ethernet cable and the Netgear does seem to have internet (orange light vs. white light). Also, the Netgears default SSID isn't appearing in networks available/to be set up.
I'm good with computers but haven't done much in the way of wireless networks.
Any help/advice/troubleshooting would help.
