Setting up a Server

Ok I have been trying by myself (and calling my ISP Vyve Broadband) to set my internet to use Port Forwarding for games (CoE4, Dominions 3, CoE3, Factorio, etc.) I have asked a few questions here and there always seems to be someone to help, so I am turning to the community here for help.

My OS: Windows 7
My ISP: Vyve Broadband
My Modem/Router: Arris DG860

Alright so I go to my internet routers homepage to Port Forward, I have tried both Virtual Servers and Port Triggers both alone and together (using a Static IP on my PC) and have been unable to connect to my server using my external IP (nor can anyone else)

I was able to port forward just fine a few months ago then it stopped for some reason, I cannot get a good answer from Vyve (apparently company policy is to ignore customers) and am at the end of my fuse.

Now I have to ask:

Can this be fixed or,
Do I need to purchase my own router and/or modem and stop renting the current one?

Will provide extra info if needed

stupid question but have to ask , you not got it blocked with Windows firewall?

Well I suppose its not a stupid question since it was stupid for me not including it lol, windows defender, firewall, and MalwareBytes are all set to off. The only Firewall up is my modems (which I have tried DMZ and just turning it off)

if you set the DMZ to on and pointed it at your PC IP address and it didn't work that's bit off to say the lest. Although I wouldn't use DMZ anyway lol. but port forwarding should pretty simple.

I don't know the make/model of your router, but hopefully its on this list.

most need you to port forward, and set a service.

EG Port forward page WAN to LAN on port bla
Go to services in router make a new one give it a name and set its port
