Setting up dual monitors - both show the same

I have gone into display/screen resolution within control panel to set up dual monitors but when I click detect, nothing happens. Both monitors on my newly built system perform fine but are exactly alike as display #1.
Both are connected to my Diamond 6770 with two DVI outs. Can you please give me a hint on what to do? Thanks.

Solved this one myself... updated the drivers again and now everything is fine.
