Setting up netgear to att uverse?

what do I plug the yellow line from Netgear #1 line to back of Uverse? I think to #1 hole in Uverse "Local Ethernet".

How did you connect the Uverse (a DSL modem ?) to your computer before getting the router ? Use the same socket on the Uverse to connect to the router and then connect to the router by wireless or by ethernet into any of its remaining ethernet sockets.

I'm assuming the Netgear router you bought was designed to work with a separate modem.

Yes, I had a Comcast RCA Modem and the ATT guy just unplugged everything during installation so I'm attempting to hook it back up

There's probably a manual for the Uverse modem. There certainly will be for the Netgear (www.netgear.com)
