setting up new printer it say printer not detected when it is turned on

Hi I'm having trouble setting up my new Canon pixma mg 2560 printer,
it has got to step 3 & is saying printer is not connected even though it is turned on
and working.

Would someone know how to fix this problem please?

If you haven't already, be sure to check Device Manager. I had a similar problem with a HP Printer and it ended up just being some faulty drivers.
