setting up router

First iwant you know that in ipv4 properties the ip adress and the default gateway is not in the same network sagement...but i can connect to internet... now I bought Dlink Dir-600m router...i tried to open 192.168.0.1( or .1.1) in browser...but it says not available...then i remove all my ipv4 setting...then it opens the setup wizard...but when i trying to set up the static ip..it is not allow me to save and saying wan adress and gateway must be on same network... plz help me

You need to start at the beginning. Why are you trying to change the IP, exactly on what, what are you setting up and how? Are you replacing your router, trying to add a second one? If your IP address and default gateway don't match the device, you won't connect.
