Setting up tv as monitor

i was told by brighthouse didnt nrrd any adpters just go my computer and split devises do not see that

What inputs are on the TV? HDMI, VGA, DVI, etc?

If your computer has DVI and the TV has HDMI, then just get this:

I found I have the least Issues with VGA inputs (aka the regular D-sub 9 pin blue plugs) otherwise if you TV doesn't have one. Otherwise yeah, DVI to HDMI.

Getting audio to work correctly might require help...

Post what your TV models is and your computer's model / video card...
