Setting up TV Monitor

Hi

I'm wanting to use my LG TV as a monitor for my new PC I'm using HDMI as an output for my PC and an input for my TV but for some reason when I plug my PC into my TV it does nothing could you advise.

Do you have the TV on the correct input? Have you verified the output on your graphics card and the cable you are using works properly with another monitor?

I have the TV on the correct input. I don't think I can verify the output on my graphics card because I cant see to install the drivers. And I know that the HDMI cable works because I have used it with my PS3.

What graphics card do you have? Grab the latest drivers from either nvidia or AMD website depending on your brand.
