Setting up UEIF fast-boot?

I've got this motherboard:

and I'd like to enable the fast-boot or "windows 8" mode stuff. I've tried enabling the Windows 8 mode, but that doesn't work. I'll go back into the BIOS after turning on Windows 8 mode and my boot devices list will have shrunk and my SSD won't be on the list. On the top of the BIOS it shows a list of things to boot from, and some have a "U" next to them. I think this means they're "UEIF" and apparently my SSD doesn't count as that. I'd like to know if I can turn my SSD into something that works with the UEIF or what I have to do to enable the Windows 8 mode or fast-boot with my stuff. Thanks!

Thanks, but I'm aware of where it is, and how to turn it on, but the problem, as described in the original post, is that after I turn it on I can't boot up because it won't use my SSD after I've set it on fast-boot. After I turn it onto fast-boot the only boot devices available are the ones with the "U" next to them in the BIOS. I'm assuming this means UEIF and apparently my SSD isn't that. I'm wondering how I can set it up to be like that.
