Hi! I just started using Windows 7 & I am hoping the problem I am encountering can be easily fixed by changing some setting or other.
At a site where I am registered, after I post new entries, I am supposed to click on an icon the says, “Notify Members”. The site then instantly sends email notifications to fellow members & then tells you how many emails were sent.
Since getting Windows 7 Pro on my desktop & Windows 7 Home Premium on the laptop, when I click on the “Notify Members” icon, the notifications do not get sent out. The only thing that happens is that a little spinning circle appears beside the name of the Internet Explorer tab.
When I used my friend’s Windows XP computer the notifications were sent out successfully.
Is there some setting (on my computer, in Internet Explorer, or at the site) that can fix this situation?
