Just installed Windows 7 with RAID 1 on two hard drives. I now connected a third SATA hdd which has a bit of data inside. However it does not come up on 'my computer' or device manager.

Instead of 'installing new device' windows message for the WDC hard disk, it instead installs device for nForce Raid Controller.
The nForce software does not see the third hard disk either.

ANy ideas?

SOLVED:
For anyone trying to figure this out, it was the BIOS settings, RAID was enabled on that SATA port for the HDD which did not have a relation to the RAID 0 setup. Disable it.
