Hello all. I have a friend's LaCie server in my possession attempting to get files from it. This is the situation: My friend's 1TB ethernet server had a malfunction and the enclosure will not power on after the malfunction. There seems like there is no physical damage to anything but the power supply on the enclosure so I extracted the drive from the enclosure and put it in a PC to see if I could access the files. The drive shows in the device manager as a Samsung HD103SI ATA device and comes up with the correct capacity and has 7 partitions (I don't know if the partitions are a result of it being used as a server) (Below is a screenshot from the disk management). In the device manager, my primary drive is shown with it's path along with the new Samsung drive and it's partitions, although they do not have letter paths and the option to assign one is greyed out when I right click the drive. I've gone into the UEFI BIOS and the drive shows there no problem. I've also tried the DISKPART function of the command prompt and while several times it has said I successfully assigned a letter to the drive it still does not show in the file explorer. I've gone through several forums and various "solutions" that seemed to work for other people but I can't get the drive to show up. Any help is appreciated. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium. Thank you!

Yea it is not running windows which is why you can not give it a drive letter.

Here are a few programs to try out

if that doesn't work then it may not even be linux

I am unaware of the OS of the server. All I know is the server was bought over 6 years old, was plugged into a router when unboxed and uploaded to via the home WiFi network.
