I played a lot the last days and came across a lot of things that were new
to me:

- Some swear that there is a "experience bug", which means if only 7 people
are in a baalrun you get more experience than in a 8 player game.

- Heart Carver looks like a great weapon for lvl36. But did you know that a
full repair costs you 35000 gold? If you use this weapon with zeal you have
every trip back to town repair costs at about 20000 gold...

- IQ on battlenet becomes less and less. Public Baalrun:
* someone shouts: "sorc tele!", but there is no sorc in the game
* 90% is playing with maphack ("great items you have, i need your xxx")
*game name is baalrun02, someone spammed "tptptptptp" and waited in act1 to
directly jump to throne...
*game "act1 nm start", 2 seconds after creating the game a necro entered
and asked: "act?", me: "1", "quest?", me: "1", he leaves....

- Seems to me that "pick it" is back. I was in a baalrun with a sorc who
ported out of nowhere to grap all stuff near my feet (PE from gem shrine,
small charm, rejuvention potions, ...). I can't believe that she saw the
items that much faster than me, ported on top of them(!) and picked it up
just before they hit the ground. She was swearing that she was using no
hacks...

- I found Ghost Flame (elite dagger) and built a holy shock/fana/zeal pala
around. Jesus, this guy is fun (after changing Heart Carver for Ghost Flame,
look above 😉 ). 5000 lightning damage + 720 aura damage is quite
impressive.

- I get a lot of "connection interrupted" messages lately. No lag but
interruptions. Thank god not during muling (yet).

- What character do I need to kill a pk-sorc using full Tal Rashas? I think
she used fireball but died too fast to see it.

Depends on your gear and the skill of the sorc.

Using a sorc of your own would just come down to who was the better
teleporter and who was more accurate with their spells. A bone mancer,
especially a teleporting one is basically the same deal, with teleport,
necro will usually kill the sorc. A teleporting wind druid will usually kill
MOST sorcs, regardless of their build. FoH pallies usually eat sorcs for
lunch too. Whirlwind assassins(especially WWsins with good claw block) and
kickers are nicknamed magekillers in PvP games, as they usually kill sorcs
easily. A zon(especially a strong bowzon) can be a good sorc killer,
especially if she has high dodge/evade. If the sorc doesn't use Stormshield,
a Widowmaker using enchantress or ranger can fare pretty well against them,
if she uses Storm and has max block, it's a lot harder. Trappers can do well
too, if they are good with Mind Blast(and especially if they can teleport).
Enigma barbs with BotD and such can kill fire sorcs too, a regular barb
won't have a chance.

Why is that?

And people shouting "new game" and leaving before the Lister pack arrives.

I find a lot of elite daggers too, but they are all bone knifes...

Same here! Man it's annoying. I haven't lost anything valuable yet, only
gems and jewels.

Yup, I got it confirmed from several seasoned players.

Depends. You would probably need a character built specially for this task.
But you would still be prone to die to trigger-hack, I guess.

I think the skills (item/potion find) on this weapon make it very expensive
to repair.

I think you missed the operative words - "full tal rashas". This means
relatively slow cast speed.

On the contrary, you now can hit 105 FCR with full Tals if you're
willing to go with a spirit monarch.

Spirit (minimum roll) 25
Magefist 20
Tals set 50
one little fcr ring 10
105 here you go!

I know that that is not an option for you, you block freak, but its
very viable.

1)Full Tal's+Lidless or Magefists or Spirit or 20 FCR ammy=70-85% FCR. Full
Tal's with perfect Spirit and 20 FCR ammy OR Magefists=105%. Full Tal's with
Magefists, 20 FCR ammy, and two 10 FCR rings=110% and can still use
Stormshield. Not too many sorcs go for the 200% bp, so no slower than most
anyone else.
2)A good teleporter with good aim(or a person using lameass AA hack) can
often kill a bad teleporter, even if the bad teleporter has higher cast
rate.

So as I said, using a sorc to fight the sorc would come down to who had
better aim and who was the better teleporter.

is there a new tals ammy or something? Just checked with a few of mine and
as I remembered it, no fcr on the ammy.

1.10 Tal's Ammy, Belt, and Armor all three have 10% FCR as a partial set
bonus. To get the FCR from the ammy, you need 4 pieces equipped.

yes, I have the full set equiped - both first and second 1.10 ladders. But
it's not a 20 fcr ammy, checked summit (fwiw), it doesn't list fcr on the
ammy either, and I've found several which I've given away, I've never seen a
20 fcr tals ammy (or heard of one before this). The partial bonus to the
ammy is 10%.

Wasn't my exact wording "1.10 Tal's Ammy, Belt, and Armor all three have 10%
FCR as a partial set bonus"?

no, your wording was:

you can't have a 20fcr ammy with tals full set
