[SOLVED] Severe FPS stutter and lag

Hello, this problem is related to my current laptop. I was having no issues before yesterday of any lag/fps stutter issues. Now I am having severe issues with my fps dropping and some games being unplayable. I have a suspicion that that it happened after I plugged in a mouse that I hadn't used before and that some issue from that device install happened. I've run multiple anti-virus to see if that was a cause but nothing has shown up so now I am at a loss as to what else I can do.

It could have installed a driver for that mouse which is causing problems, you should check what changes you made on software side.
look in apps and features, and device manager.
