Severe Monitor Ghosting

Im having some issues with my new monitor (Acer R240HY, bought it a few weeks ago). I bought it the last week of college, so I havent gamed on it until today.
Playing terraria I noticed the trees were ghosting against the background, decided to use this: http://www.prad.de/new/monitore/testsoftware/schlieren2.html, and found some serious ghosting. My secondary monitor is perfectly fine.
I used two different HDMI cables, and even used my DVI cable hooked up to my secondary monitor, still present.

If you tried different cables and different ports I don't know what to tell you. Based on the specs it shouldn't ghost at all and there's a whole bunch of favorable reviews. The main complaint I see is backlight bleed.

I'd at least try VGA and start thinking about RMA.
So it ghosts with HDMI and DVI? Those the only inputs? My Samsung ( S32D850T ) didn't like HDMI but works perfectly with DisplayPort.

How about if you disconnect the secondary monitor?

If you have a choice return it through Amazon. I've been a Prime member for years and one of the reasons is their return policy.
